DEAR CANDY HEARTS WRITER:

Hi! This is the first time I'm doing this particular style of challenge, and the first time I've done a non-Yuletide fic challenge in a really long time. So I feel that weird, first day of school energy, a mix of excited and also nervous.

Anyway. On AO3 I'm

brandnewsoul. This is to kind of give you an idea of what I like, both by bookmarks and by my own writing. For more ideas of the kind of vibes I'm going for, a few of my favorite movies are 10 Things I Hate About You, Roman Holiday, Hustlers, Out of Sight, Casanova (the one with Heath Ledger), and Moulin Rouge. So, romcoms with rivals/enemies to lovers, witty banter, some crime, and (mostly) happy endings.

And more specifically, here's a breakdown of what I'm wishing for with every request I have:

Lupin III:
Arsène Lupin III/Zenigata Kouichi: I really enjoy when these two have to team up for a reason, and the times that they've had to do so has made me realize that I really love reluctant allies to lovers (a subset of enemies to lovers, I guess?). I also really love a makeover scene, when one party gets a look at the messier one cleaned up and has their "...oh" moment. So in this case: I'd love to have Lupin and Zenigata to have to infiltrate some sort of ball/black tie affair, and there should be dance lessons, Pops in a tux, and Lupin getting a little light-headed at the thought of it all.

Knives Out:

Blanc/Phillip: I love the idea of them meeting while Blanc is investigating a case, and Phillip is a minor criminal but not the one Blanc is seeking out. Maybe at first they kind of work together like Peter and Neil in White Collar, and then they eventually fall in love? Something like that!
Marta/Ransom: I hate that I was swayed by how Ransom kind of tried to sweet talk Marta in the middle, but I love their chemistry. I'd like to maybe see something like a fast-forward, with Ransom out of prison and Marta living her best life. He comes for a favor, she demands favors from him.
Blanc & Helen & Marta: Blanc decides to introduce Helen and Marta, and the three of them just have a nice, relaxing weekend with no murders or messed up rich people.
Helen & Marta: See above, minus Blanc!

MCU:

Steve/Natasha: I like their lived-in dynamic—in the moments we got of Steve and Natasha together they had "long-paired couple" vibes that I was into. I had some headcanon feelings that in between Black Widow and Infinity War they hooked up, so that, perhaps?
Darcy/Steve: with these two, I'd love something kind of in the vein of a classic 80s/90s romcom, only a little sexier. Which is super vague, but I feel like it kind of fits?
Namor/Shuri: I like a powerful man being a little bit desperate and pathetic, so please give me Namor going from totally in charge to kind of like, less toxic Marlon Brando in Streetcar, and Shuri, at first, being horrified until she realizes that she can use it to her advantage. And, okay, maybe she likes the attention a little.
Yelena/Peter: I just saw the pairing listed and thought "I am okay with this, it could be both hot and/or adorable, perhaps both". Mostly because Peter is newly adult, and Yelena has seen and done things he probably couldn't comprehend, and maybe she finds his comparable innocence refreshing.
Yelena/Matt: again with "hey, this could be hot", only they could have kind of a double meeting: one where they're fighting, and the next when they end up on a set up date with hilarity ensuing.

Original Work:

(Minor) God/Their Favored Human: I like this feeling because it kind of feeds into the Fated Mate dynamic, and it also reminds me of the Eros and Psyche storyline in Lore Olympus. There's a part early on when Eros is sent to make Psyche fall for a repulsive being, and she's weaving some sort of offering for him on a loom. Something like that, with the human being worshipful and the god being like, "We can take this to the next level."
Male Porn Star/Bookish Virgin Who Hired Him to Deflower Her: I'd really like this if the Bookish Virgin is in her 30s or so, and has an idea of what she wants.

20th Century CE RPF:
James Dean/Eartha Kitt/Paul Newman: ever since I heard about this alleged threesome, I have wanted to believe. Even more so after reading Paul Newman's memoir. I know that he credits Joanne with bringing out his peak hotness, but maybe Eartha and James also contributed? You can roll with this.
