I so wrote a song about this.
Jul. 19th, 2004 11:15 pmI hate that so many other people I know are going off to four-year schools and I'm going to community college, even though all these reports in papers seem to be telling me and anyone else who cares that going the two year, then transfer route is becoming more popular because college prices are just too damn much. I still feel like a bit of a loser anyway.
I feel like such a brat because of it. But it's like, geez, can't I get SOMETHING I wanted? Now I have to wait two more years and go through all of the applying junk again. Crikey. I'm already mentally making a list of the schools I want to apply to now.
Someone help me to not feel so despondent. Please?

God always has a plan. He has you there for a reason, so chin up & make the best of it. The more people I talk to, the more they recommend JC/CC/etc before heading to a University, most claiming it makes for a smoother entrance to the college world ;)
